My name is Chris Wratt

I am a Teacher at SFdS.

I live in the ‘Bay’ with Charlotte and our three teenagers- Toby, William and Xanthe- who have all attended St Francis de Sales and loved it.

2026 is my tenth year here and my 27th year of teaching. At the end of 2023 I felt like a break from classroom teaching and decided to take up the role of caretaker for the school. Then in 2025 I decided to get back into the classroom where i enjoy teaching. 

We are a football family and Charlotte and I are active in running the Island Bay United Club. We joke that Wakefield Park is our second home during the winter season.
