My name is Hala Bassel

Kia ora koutou, Ko Hala ahau!

I'm coming to St Francis after three years at St Claudine's, in the valley of Wainuiomata. But I live locally with my family in the beautiful Tapu Te Ranga.

In the classroom, my favourite time of the day is Prayer. Although I'm also quite keen on Maths, Reading and Writing. I love History too, and exploring how we can create a sustainable future together.

Some things about me: I can't live without my family. I never get tired of long days at the beach. And my favourite food is fresh bread, closely followed by pistachios. Finally, I'm so excited to get to know you and work with you this year! Mā te Atua me te wāhi ngaro tātou e tiaki e manaaki.
