My name is Ronan Kelly.

I am a Team Leader for Papatūānuku and Teacher in Parareka (Room 8) at St Francis de Sales School.

I have been teaching at SFdS for the past four years and love being part of our school community. One of my passions is helping students to achieve; I love to see tamariki enjoying their learning.

I am originally from Ireland and did my teacher training in London. I have taught all age groups at primary level and like to provide a challenge for tamariki. Wellbeing is a focus for me - students who feel safe and secure will progress better in their learning.

In my spare time I love swimming, walking, running, playing guitar, listening to music and watching films. One of my passions is reading and I adore detective stories. Finally, a key interest of mine is travel - I have visited a number of wonderful destinations.
